Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growing business and responsible for developing, cultivating, qualifying leads and closing new business, and managing customer and partner relationships and expectations, as part of customer development functions to achieve sale revenue and market penetration objectives.
In this role you will call directly on and visit customer sites in an array of industrial, commercial, and municipal markets, ranging from medium size to Fortune 1000 organizations.
You will leverage your knowledge of building structures and operations set ups.
You will build strong relationships with Operations and Safety personnel, and perform in a consultative sales capacity to sell appropriate fall protection solutions that meet functional needs and safety code compliance.
This role is critical to the Company in its continued high growth.
You need to be self-directed, innovative, energetic, results driven, forward thinking, and perform collaboratively in a professional team environment.

Meet assigned sales targets and all pipeline activities to do so Develop and execute individual business development plans Promptly find and act on leads, efficiently qualify, and conduct sales activities to optimal effectiveness Regularly travel to perform site surveys and customer consultations, prepare detailed field drawings, and determine needs and solutions Participate in preparing accurate cost estimates and technical proposals for customer presentation Maintain CRM database for all prospect and customer activities Initiate and develop strong business relationships within all levels of customer organizations, including senior level management Collaborate with other Company Sales personnel for development of programs, marketing content and sales materials Provide timely and complete internal reporting Represent the company at networking and tradeshow events Assist the team as necessary in coverage to include installation assistance Perform ANSI compliant fall hazard surveys Must be a sales hunter with a consultative approach and tact to develop and maintain diverse customer relationships for ongoing service and revenue opportunities Must have a passion for safety and providing superior service Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal instruction and who can be innovative in ways and means to approach new business Must have a collaborative working relationship with team members marked with support and trust Must aspire to follow Company values of integrity, high service, continuous improvement and learning, accountability, compliance excellence, humility, and respect.

PM20 Bachelor's degree with 3
years sales experience preferred or in lieu of education, 5
years of technical product sales experience Highly preferable sales experience in architectural, construction or engineered safety products fields; ability to read construction drawings required Success in solution-based sales including elements of design, engineering, fabrication and installation Knowledge of construction and engineering processes applicable to fall protection systems Proven track record of sales success, professional sales training Proficiency with MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) CRM, and order systems Excellent written and oral communication skills Analytical and detail oriented problem-solving skills Ability to quickly grasp OSHA and other corresponding regulation codes, and apply in customer dealings and product applications Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record Ability to travel 50% Must be a sales hunter with a consultative approach and tact to develop and maintain diverse customer relationships for ongoing service and revenue opportunities Must have a passion for safety and providing superior service Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal instruction and who can be innovative in ways and means to approach new business Ability to submit to a pre-employment background The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
